The short version
Browsing DelayClock needs no account and sets no cookies. If you buy text alerts we keep your mobile number and a record of your consent, use them only to send the alerts you paid for, and do not sell or share them for marketing.
What we collect
Browsing. We use PostHog for usage analytics in a cookieless mode: no cookies, no local storage, no advertising identifiers, no session recording. We see which pages are viewed and which buttons are tapped, plus standard request data (approximate location from IP address, browser and device type).
Text alerts. Your mobile number; the game you chose; the time you agreed, the exact consent wording you were shown, and the IP address you agreed from (carriers can require proof of consent); and a log of the messages we sent you. Payment is handled by Stripe: we never see or store your card number.
How we use it, and who else sees it
We use your number only to send the alerts you bought and to respond to STOP and HELP. Service providers process data on our behalf: Stripe (payment), Telnyx (delivering texts), Cloudflare (hosting and database), Fly.io (the lightning watcher; it holds no personal data), PostHog (analytics; it never receives your phone number), and Sentry (error reports when something on our side breaks; request contents are left out and anything shaped like a phone number is removed before a report is sent).
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers above that need it to deliver the messages.
Keeping and deleting
Consent records and message logs are kept for up to four years, because that is how long a consent dispute can arise; unpaid sign-up attempts are deleted within 30 days. Reply STOP to stop messages at any time. To have your number and records deleted, email help@delayclock.com from any address and tell us the number; we keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as the fact of an opt-out.
Children
DelayClock is not directed to children under 13, and text alerts are for adults.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will change the date above and say so on the site.
